Bitola – Hotel Molika (Pelister National Park) – Florina (Greece) – Loutraki (Greece) – Bitola
The Pelister Peaks & Loutraki Spa tour is a ten-hour wellness and nature experience that starts high in the Macedonian mountains and ends in the healing thermal waters of northern Greece. The day begins in Bitola with a guided tour through the city’s main landmarks, including the Clock Tower, Isak Çelebi Mosque, Bezisten, and Old Bazaar. Guests continue to the Yeni Mosque and St. Demetrius Church before walking down the Shirok Sokak promenade.
Along the way, the Catholic Church, Heart of Jesus monument, and House of the Army offer insights into Bitola’s layered civic and spiritual history. At the National Museum, a special exhibit on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk adds a modern touch, followed by a visit to the Roman-era ruins of Heraclea Lyncestis and a short drive past the city’s Jewish, French, and German cemeteries.
Leaving the city behind, the tour heads into Pelister National Park, where guests arrive at Hotel Molika, surrounded by pine forests and fresh mountain air. A light morning hike follows one of the park’s forest trails, offering views across the Pelagonia plain and the distant Baba Mountain peaks. This part of the day is peaceful and energizing, perfect for anyone who enjoys walking in nature.
From Pelister, the group continues to the Greek border and arrives in Florina for lunch. Here, guests enjoy a mix of Macedonian and Greek flavors, with time to relax before the final leg of the tour to Loutraki. Tucked into the hills, Loutraki is famous for its thermal spa complex, where mineral-rich waters flow into open-air pools surrounded by trees and natural rock formations. The spa ticket and locker use are included, and guests have free time to soak, relax, or take a short riverside stroll.
This tour is designed for travelers who want a balance of activity, relaxation, and natural beauty in one memorable day.
